Cheryl P. Weiner has written her first historical-fiction novel, Three Assassinations. When Weiner first discovered the origins of her Jewish Ukrainian heritage, she embarked on a path to unearth her unusual and compelling family history. After discovering her mother's handwritten notes, she spent years researching and corroborating her family's story. Her saga begins in Odessa, Russia in 1867 and ends in California in 2006. During those years, three historical assassinations seeped into her family's life. Cheryl, a retired trial attorney, her husband Steve and their labradoodle Red reside in wine country.
