Shiyuan Chen was born in Fujian, P.R. China. He received aBachelor degree in Taxation in 1998 and a Masters degree inFinance in 2001 from Xiamen University. Then he received a Ph.D.degree in Economics from Georgia State University in 2008.His research interests focus on public finance & taxation,finance, and development economics.
