Autorenporträt
Ronald Benjamin Pearce was born and raised in Sydney. In his early years he attended technical college, then worked and contracted in the building industry before gaining a commercial pilot's licence. He flew aerial survey aircraft for seven and a half years on operations all over Australia, New Guinea and the Solomon Islands before moving to North Queensland and starting his own air charter and air tour operation, as well as building a business, and a family of four boys. He has had a life of diversity and adventure, enjoyed with many stories latent therein.Poetry has to at times be driven by life from day to day or events along the way. Then it must sometimes be just to have one's say, by inspiration brought on by a whim, or just dreaming at night. It can be inspired with a thought that just comes out of nowhere without a care. Readers will have to follow suit to get the gist and enjoy the bliss. It can be in couplet from, narrative to some extent, in rhythm at best by me, or a sonnet it could be. Then, maybe not.Cheers!
