John C. Redmond received his B.S. degree from the University of North Dakota and his Ph.D. from The Pennsylvania State University. He presently resides in Parker County, Texas. When Dr. Redmond first strode onto the historic Village Green in Lexington, Massachusetts, many decades ago, he was captivated by memories of the long ago patriots who fought and died there. He marveled at the courage and resolve exhibited in their intrepid pursuit of freedom. Since that time he has studied the motivations and actions of all of the American freedom fighters in initiating their battle for independence. This work is the cumulating of that research; an interesting, easily readable accounting of the revolution they launched.
