Dr. Gitau has served congregations in the American Baptist Church and the United Methodist Church in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to church ministry, Dr. Gitau is a biblical scholar specializing in the Hebrew Bible and ancient Near Eastern Literature. He has performed a variety of ministries as parish priest, principal of a theological college, Director of Theological Education by Extension, Director of the college ministry, and college professor, where he has taught a wide variety of courses in religion. Dr. Gitau is a Christian writer and has published a variety of books and articles.
