Thymic epithelial tumours include thymomas and thymic carcinomas. They represent 20% of all mediastinal tumours. Their management is multidisciplinary. Surgery is the treatment of choice for resectable tumours.Neoadjuvant chemotherapy is proposed as first-line treatment for invasive forms.Postoperative radiotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy are indicated in cases of insufficient surgery or high-grade tumours. Inoperable forms are treated with a combination of radiotherapy and systemic therapy.
