An educator-scientist-physician-executive with over 40 years of leadership experience in higher education, research, and academic healthcare, Dr. Fereidoun Azizi currently serves as Head of the Research Institute for Endocrine Science, one of the largest institutes of its kind in Iran. He provides support, strategic oversight, guidance, and advocacy for the educational, research and clinical programs for academic members and health professions. Dr. Azizi is also an internationally recognized clinical translational scientist, having developed an important program in endocrine disorders research and having published approximately 1400 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and book chapters over the past 40 years.  Dr. Fahimeh Ramezani Tehrani is a physician-scientist and author who has made valuable contributions to evidence-based medicine, epidemiology, basic science and clinical research, as well as the social sciences. She has pioneered many areas of Reproductive Endocrinology and is one of the most-cited scientists on the thyroid and pregnancy. Dr. Tehrani is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Head of Reproductive Endocrinology at the Research Institute for Endocrine Science. She has published over 500 peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and book chapters.¿
