The book introduces the healing dynamics of Tibb - a traditional medicine that began with Imhotep in Africa, was embraced by Greeks like Hippocrates, and was refined over many centuries by Arab physicians like Ibn Sina. This traditional system of medicine believes that each individual has an ideal state particular to them, a tradition that has largely been hidden by modern beliefs in reductionism, germ theory and technology. This book attempts to reunite the practices of modern medicine and holistic medicine through the philosophical insights and practical techniques of Tibb.
