Autorenporträt
Johnson Nguyen is a first generation Vietnamese-American with a unique last name. The learning of English was almost entirely confined to public grade school and beyond to earning a MBA-education for him has been an escape from a grim home environment, confined freedom and creative stagnation. He believes in never ceasing to learn, magic of the written word and individual expression in any form. Johnson is in commercial roofing, real estate services and writes most days while his wife Lan Anh is a landscape architect. As a pastime, they build furniture at their suburban Dallas home. And his surname, with an estimated 40 percent of Vietnamese people in aggregate, could not be more common!
