Emily has always dedicated herself to storytelling. She began her career weaving narratives as a video editor for a TV station before moving into the marketing field: brand design and copywriting for small businesses. She now focuses on writing and illustrating children's books. Emily was born in England and grew up on the Norfolk coast, but has lived in South Africa for thirteen years. She works from home, in sunny Cape Town, where her company is tolerated by the two family dogs, Pip and Bob, and, perhaps more reluctantly, the cat, Muffin.
