John McElligott is an entrepreneur, technical futurist, keynote speaker, inventor, and expert on responsible disruption. He lives in York, Pennsylvania, and has founded multiple businesses in the music, multimedia, and technology spaces, as well as in development and construction. Born into a missionary family, John spent his youth in the UK. He returned to the US at the age of eighteen to attend university and enlist in the United States Marine Corps, serving during and after 9/11. He is currently the founder and CEO of York Exponential, a robotics company located inn Pennsylvania, as well as the founder of The Fortress Academy, a licensed college dedicated to training robot mechanics, and partner at Origin AI. He is passionate about ensuring the benefits of exponential technologies like robotics and Artificial Intelligence for all peoples, and is dedicated to making positive and lasting changes in communities, the nation, and the world. In his free time, John restores vintage motorcycles and is an avid musician and singer-songwriter. Tim Starr is a twenty-seven-year-old Kansas City native who has been living in the area his entire life. As the youngest of eight children, Tim was homeschooled and has participated in the Special Olympics for the past twenty years. In 2016, he graduated from Goodwill's Quest Academy program where he received job skills training and won the Bright Futures award. Since then, he has been employed at Anton's Tap Room and Goodwill Mokan, where he worked as a data annotation technician. Recently, he has received additional training from Goodwill and The Fortress Academy on AI and robotics. In his spare time, Tim studies judo and is an inspiring example of how hard work and dedication leads to success.
