D.J. Bianco is an avid carver of wood, Thanksgiving turkeys, and baked goods. An accountant by trade, Tim the Tiny Block is his first book written and illustrated for children. His favorite type of wood to carve is fresh walnut. His favorite type of nut to eat is fresh doughnut. In addition to sharing jaunty stories, his writing aims to impart messages of inclusion, diversity, and self-worth to his readers.
