Conceived on the day that the RAF defeated the Luftwaffe in the skies over England, Alfred Alcorn, born Denny, grew up in the UK, Ireland, and New England. He attended Harvard, got married, stayed married, worked as a journalist, travel coordinator, and wildlife guide. TIME IS THE FIRE is his tenth novel.
