Gerold Trank, a thirty-nine year old historian, works as secretary of the renowned Swiss 'Foundation for the Propagation of Humanistic Ideals'. Founded over one hundred and fifty years ago and funded by commerce and industry, the organization supports traditional - and only traditional - cultural activities.During one particular board meeting Trank is overwhelmed by a flood of thoughts. Autorenporträt

Andreas Pritzker wurde 1945 in Windisch (Schweiz) geboren. Nach dem Physikstudium an der ETH Zürich arbeitete er zunächst als Forscher und beratender Ingenieur in der Industrie, dann als Forscher im Schweizerischen Institut für Nuklearforschung (SIN). Nach fünfjähriger Tätigkeit im Stab des Schweizerischen Schulrats (heute ETH-Rat) leitete er während fünfzehn Jahren zuerst die Verwaltung, später den Logistikbereich des Paul Scherrer Instituts (PSI). Seit 2003 ist er freischaffender Autor. Mitglied ist er bei Autoren der Schweiz (AdS) und beim Deutschweizer PEN-Zentrum. Er ist verheiratet und lebt in Küttigen (Schweiz). Neben belletristischen Werken hat er Beiträge in Anthologien und Sachbüchern veröffentlicht.
