This book is dedicated to everyone that's going through something whether it be family problems or drug problems or job problems or just life in general. I'm hoping to reach individuals out there that aren't afraid to admit that life isn't easy. We all have obstacles in life that we have to overcome. Don't ever think that you are the only one that's going through whatever it is that you are going through, ever. I've been through many obstacles and going through them made me realize that I'm a very strong person. Cause I think the average person probably would have given up by now. See it's not about how many times you get knocked down, it's about how many times you get up. Never waddle in your problems to long that you forget the big picture. The main goal that you are trying to accomplish. That's what I always did I stayed focused on the main goal and that's what drove me to overcome whatever is was that I was going through at that particular time. Of course I've made a lot of mistakes that's a part of life, cause if we don't make mistakes how can we ever learn anything new. If we think we know it all we'll never learn. I've driven trucks for a lot of years and every time I got behind the wheel I learned something new. See that's what made me the great truck that I was in the industry. I learned from my many mistakes. When I was young I joined a gang simply because I wanted to fit in with my homies but as time progressed it became more of a family. See we took oaths and believed what we stood for in this world. We stood on that very firmly but as time went on it was like some of this new generation wasn't standing on some of the principles. I myself violated a few times in life. But my violations were mostly hurting myself and not my fellow brother. It's just like any other organization you have to be loyal in order to make it work. During the course of my addiction I got a chance to see how people treat you differently when they found out that your addicted to drugs. My friends and family was not the same with me, it was as if I had stepped into a twilight zone. The welcome's were not the same, the hugs were not the same. The I'm just checking on you phone calls stopped coming. See now you're and outcast we don't really want to be affiliated with you anymore brother, friend, cousin or uncle. Now you get to see the real them, so in a way it's a blessing cause you know how they truly are now. The mask has been taken off from your transgressions. So count it all joy. Don't be mad just be glad that you found out sooner than later. I always tried to keep my head up during these times cause I always new and believed that one day it would get better for me. I couldn't go anywhere but up from were I was in life so that was a plus. So don't kick yourself in the head to much for your mistakes and downfalls because God don't make mistakes. It's their lost if they choose to not want you in their life anymore. You stay positive and keep going and don't quit! I'm a firm believer that our children are our future. I don't have any children myself not yet anyways but I truly believe that they are out future. So we have to be mindful of our actions as adults cause they're always watching. I remember being a child and that's what I did, I watched my parents and tried to mimic what the where doing in life. So I want to try to stop some of this gang violence in America. Most of our youth are getting locked up are already locked up cause they have done what they see their fathers do or their uncles do or their cousins do it's a cycle. These days I try to be a positive roll model as much as I can, nobody's perfect like I said as much as I can especially when I know some young man or young woman are watching. I try to get employment and represent a law abiding citizen as much as I can cause now a days that's pretty much the best way to go. Try not to be a statistic and get caught up in the system is w
