Autorenporträt
Marie-Luise Angerer (1958-2024) war zuletzt Professorin für Medientheorie/Medienwissenschaft an der Universität Potsdam, geschäftsführende Direktorin des Brandenburgischen Zentrums für Medienwissenschaften (ZeM) sowie Sprecherin des Forschungskollegs Sensing: Zum Wissen sensibler Medien. Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt war die Verbindung von Affekt- und neurowissenschaftlichen Theorien, Medientechnologien und die sich hieraus ableitenden Reformulierungen psychoanalytischer / poststrukturalistischer Begriffe (Unbewusstes, Begehren u.a.). Zu ihren Publikationen zählen u.a. Affektökologie. Intensive Milieus und zufällige Begegnungen (meson press, 2017), Vom Begehren nach dem Affekt (diaphanes, 2007), das 2014 mit einem neuen Kapitel unter dem Titel Desire After Affect in englischer Übersetzung erschien, Timing of Affect.
