Perspective Can Change Your Life. Many miles from home in a foreign country, I stood overlooking the endless horizon. It was then I felt paralyzed by the fear of my ego being crushed. I realized how small I was and how I had dared to elevate myself before God. However, comfort overcame me as I remembered God's grace and love demonstrated through His sacrifice. Many of us may have had this revelation of God's power in our lives, and many may have yet to experience it. He may reveal Himself to us through heartbreak and despair or through miracles and jubilancy. Either way, the outcome should be the same: reverence for the Creator. This realization of your standing with God can and should be frightening. How could we ever measure up to a God who is so infinitely awesome? Unfortunately, many people don't view God in this way. Instead, some believe the lie that God is small-and this belief has been a detriment to humanity. Having a "Tiny God" is like a silent disease; if left undiscovered, it will metastasize. Tiny God Syndrome aims to bring relevancy to the condition so that we may confront it with a cure. Luckily for us, the cure is well-known and straightforward. It requires no follow-up appointment and is completely insured. All you have to do is trust the Provider. "He must increase, but I must decrease." -John 3:30
