Tissue adhesives (TA) are biological, biodegradable products that the therapeutic use when operating in the final stage of the coagulation cascade controlled slowdown of fibrinolysis. TA act as hemostatic and adhesive agents for wound healing, manifesting the following activities: hemostatic, adhesive and sealing activity; accelerator wound healing; carrier of active substances (can not be regarded as a substitute for sutures). The TA include: 1) the fibrin glue (FG), 2) the platelet gel (TG), and 3) the platelet adhesive (PA) and 4) autologous platelet rich plasma (APRP). According to the method of obtaining the TA are classified as commercial preparations (separated from the "pool" plasma thousands of providers); allogeneic preparations (prepared from the plasma of a donor) and autologous (isolated from the plasma of patients).
