This book described a basic technique of plant tissue culture of an eggplant and how it was made transgenic from the perspective of Plant Biotechnology. A fundamental approach was applied to detect the presence of this foreign DNA in eggplant tissue. The contents of the book were used as a teaching materials for the University students at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Helsinki, Finland as part of ERASMUS+ project and shared by Ondokuz Mayis Universitesi, Turkey at the Faculty of Agriculture. The contents of the book were research materials conducted at the Biosciences Department, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
