Tissue engineering is an interdisciplinary field of study, which employs the principles of engineering and life science to develop the biological components, which need to be healed or improved. Suganya BDS MDS licenciou-se em 2018 no Instituto de Ciências Dentárias de Bangalore e concluiu o seu mestrado na especialidade de Medicina Oral e Radiologia na Faculdade de Medicina Dentária M R Ambedkar, Bangalore, Karnataka, Índia, em 2022. Foi galardoada com o prémio Covid Warrior em 2022 pela faculdade de medicina dentária M R Ambedkar.
