James Boyle is the author of four previous novels: Ni'il: The Awakening, Ni'il: The War Within, Ni'il: Walking Turtle, and Deception Island, as well as numerous short stories, essays and poems. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and an organizer for the South Coast Writers Conference. He lives in Gold Beach on the Oregon coast where he is finishing his new novel.
