Advance praise from Saul Williams for TO SOOTHE A TEETHING GOD ... "Louise A. Hammonds' weaving of wordplay and sonic etymology combine to make us think and re-think existing relationships between poetry, scripture, and the shaping of our perceptions and beliefs. To Soothe A Teething God is a deconstructive creation aimed at destroying a mythic paradigm and its real world consequences." - Saul Williams

Autorenporträt
Louise A. Hammonds has been writing, what she terms, socio-anthropological poetry, and says it is a means to excavate the bones of social issues, and give them flesh. Hammonds integrates academia with her personal experiences of growing up in a segregated city in Upstate New York.
