To The Dogs In these 39 poems, new and selected, Roberta Gould, departs from her wide range of themes to focus on the many dogs present in our mutual life, with surprises that provoke a variety of reactions and musings which characterize her work. From pet to stray, from frolic to dream, the superior beings one reads here are an ever unfolding gift of love. Twenty four photographs of dogs living and mythological accompany the poems.

Autorenporträt
Gould's poetry has appeared widely and she is the author of 11 poetry volumes. Her varied themes include love, nature, war, insects. Dream and surreal poems, along with poetry about paintings and philosophical ponderings with ironic twists, are what readers find in her work. She lives in the Hudson Valley, is a history reader, a photographer and a friend of Mexico where she studied and later initiated a responsible tourism campaign. Holding forth in a voice marked by brevity and surety she offers poems short on the page but long in perspective: lenses that reflect worlds we thought we knew... .....American Book Review "Three Windows" The poetry of Roberta Gould is refreshingly pure. It is thoughtful and thought provoking through a sense of poetic silence. With Three Windows she has created a collection of small gems...Daisy Aldan
