Autorenporträt
Francois Place, geboren 1957, war als Zeichner zuerst im audiovisuellen Bereich tätig. Seine Kinderbuchkarriere startete er 1991. Heute zählt er zu den aufsehenerregendsten und ungewöhnlichsten Bilderbuchkünstlern Frankreichs. Im deutschsprachigen Raum ist er vor allem durch sein Buch 'Die letzten Riesen' und die Triologie 'Phantastische Reisen' bekannt geworden.

Timothee de Fombelle, geb. 1973, unterrichtete zunächst Literaturwissenschaft, arbeitete dann für das Theater und gründete 1990 seine eigene Schauspielgruppe, für die er Stücke schreibt und auch selbst inszeniert.
