In the spring of 2020, society was turned upside down by an unseen enemy. Covid-19 forced us to conduct day to life in ways we have never experienced such as being locked down and wearing facing masks. Social media echoed the voices anger and fear of the unknown. The lockdown was a blessing for me. I was forced to focus on completing my dissertation and complete projects around the house. This devotional was born from a simple picture of a completed project I posted on social media with the comment "Today...I Am Blessed". I had no intention to make other posts. However, each day something different caught eye, and I posted the picture with the same phrase "Today...I Am Blessed". Every day, we have a choice to give attention to either the blessings or the challenges in our life. The more we begin looking for the blessings, the more visible they will become. This devotional shares a 31-day journey of blessings through the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. Each day consists of the untold story behind each picture, a scripture, a life lesson and concludes with questions to guide you to applying the principles to your life. This is not a typical read once devotional. As life changes, the application of each lesson reveals a new meaning. The reflections will challenge you to openly examine yourself and your growth. Today...I am blessed to have the opportunity to share my story with you!Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
After 16 years in a career that was financially profitable, but lacking in satisfaction, I started a journey of learning and discovery that has led me to where I am today. Transitioning from being a systems analyst to an educator with a Doctor of Business Administration degree was not an easy road. The journey has taught me to learn the value of self-reflection, the value of dedication to a goal, and the return on investing in personal sacrifice. For me, the journey began as a systems analyst and currently I teach high school full time and university part time as Dr. Walter D. Honeycutt IV. For some, that shift in career and decrease in salary would be a demotion in life. That was my perception at first. However, I started looking at life a little different. I realized the advantage of time was far more valuable than the pay scale as a systems analyst. The ability to leverage free time has been a highly valuable commodity in life. Realizing the power of time allowed me to shift my perception of career and realize the potential ahead of me in life.Just a small tweak in perception today can revitalize your tomorrow into a much brighter day. My desire is to help others realize their dreams, identify their potential and make small changes today so that their tomorrow is a little brighter. We all have the ability to make small adjustments that lead to greater payoffs in the future. All of the books and journals listed on my Amazon Bookshelf are intentionally created to help you ask yourself the right questions to challenge your current position in life. In doing so, you will identify those small changes in life that will lead you toward your greatest destiny.I do hope you take advantage of the growing content I am providing as each journal and book will help you on your journey.Sincerely,Walter D. Honeycutt IV
