Just a guy! Alonzo "ZoBo" Blanding Sr is a product of a close knitted family home of four, originally from Philadelphia PA. With two God-fearing parents and an older brother, spiritual & family values were heavily instilled early on. Alonzo later gained the value of friendships and being a good teammate after the four moved to Willingboro, NJ a suburb just east of Philly. At 17 Alonzo joined the US Army, where he matured as a young man and begun to see the world differently. It was in Iraq where Alonzo found he had a greater calling and decided then he needed to be intentional about his life, and choices.As a young single father, Alonzo exited the military, and started on a rough 10-year journey to find himself and his career path. This journey included several years working on the railroad. Multiple years back in the Middle East as a contractor. The next 4 years were spent in the US working multiple jobs, while also going to school. Alonzo obtained degrees in Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, and a certification in Executive Protection. Unfortunately, this season did not only include gains. Alonzo loss his older and only sibling during this time period as well, in a tragic accident.In 2016 Alonzo married his best friend and moved to Covington Georgia where they currently reside with two of their four children. Now he stands as a husband, father, son, and author and his goals could not be any simpler. Alonzo desire to live a life that honors God, pleases his wife, makes his parents proud, and to become the greatest example for his children they will ever know. Alonzo also strives to be the best life coach and personal motivator to anyone willing to grow.
