He was a 6'7" (200 cm) 205 lb (93 kg) forward and played collegiately at Purdue University from 1984 to 1988.Todd Mitchell attended Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, Indiana, where he played basketball under head coach Gene Keady. Along with teammate Troy Lewis, he led the Boilermakers to two Big Ten Conference titles during his Junior and Senior seasons, along with a Sweet Sixteen appearance in the 1988 NCAA Tournament. He was named First Team All-Big Ten his Senior year.
