The following year, he played 35 games at the NHL level and scored 13 points. In 1999 2000, Todd played one NHL game with the Blackhawks before being traded on January 26 to the Philadelphia Flyers for a conditional draft pick. He then played three NHL games (one goal) with the Flyers.
