He comes directly from Cherno More's Youth Academy and still plays mainly for the youth team. On July 2007, AS Monaco FC officially invited Todor to join the training sessions of their U-19 team for a week. Todor Kolev plays and for Bulgaria national under-21 football team. He is very very fast player with a good dribble. Todor plays as a left winger/striker. His better foot is a left one. He can shoot well, but he can't do long shots anyway.
