Jere Silber is a highly accomplished writer, director, and producer with over 45 years of experience working in television, radio, and theatre. He is an award-winning camera operator for his remarkable work on the show News Counterpoint. Tree Story, his first published children's book, was a nominee in the Spoken Word category of the 2001 Grammy Awards. He won a Monty Award in 2001 for writing, producing and directing a video based on Tree Story. In 2014, after the birth of his first granddaughter Skylar, he wrote Up in the Sky, his second children's book. Together is his most recent children's book.
