Autorenporträt
Julie Watai is a self-taught photographer and contemporary artist in Japan. Her acid-bright, digitized works draw heavily on the worlds of Japanese manga, anime, and otaku culture. Her first photobook Samurai Girl was published by Italian art publisher, Drago & Arts in 2006.
