Il est titulaire d'une licence en économie et d'une maîtrise en sciences de l'éducation. Il a travaillé comme fonctionnaire dans les secteurs public et privé. Il enseigne actuellement l'économie et l'administration agricoles, ainsi que la formulation et l'évaluation de projets et les stratégies de marketing à la faculté d'ingénierie agrohydraulique de l'UBAP.
