Craig Maki, co-author of "Detroit Country Music: Mountaineers, Cowboys, and Rockabillies" (with Keith Cady, University of Michigan Press, 2013), guides the reader on a comprehensive quest to uncover the details behind some of the rarest and most surprising music ever made in the Motor City. Maki contributed to M.L.
