Autorenporträt
Dixie got her MRS in one year! Okay, some don't get it. She got married after her first year in college, thus the joke about getter her Mrs. in one year. Getting married and having babies was her ambition. Just one thing she didn't count on: She had to find a compatible mate. After finding out she was helping her husbands who failed in college, she decided she was sending the wrong person to college. She went back to college after her kids were all in school and began her career. Dyslexia and Attention Deficit Disorder were not diagnosed when Dixie was young. But she liked to make up stories for her younger sister. She took a writing course after retiring and began this book. She also was in Toastmasters which helped her present information in a coherent way. Though not a professional marriage advisor, she learned from the many psychologists she had. She is now passing on her knowledge in her own folksy way.
