Autorenporträt
Shaun Micallef is a comedian, writer, actor, producer, author and former child. He is usually found on TV in Australian shows such as Thank God You’re Here, Talkin’ 'Bout Your Generation and Mad as Hell. He has authored several books for adults, including Tripping Over Myself,  Smithereens, Preincarnate and The President’s Desk. A satirical mash-up of fairytales titled Tales from a Tall Forest was his first book for children, followed by Happily Ever Afterwards. When illustrator Jonathan Bentley was eight years old, he realised he wouldn’t be good enough to play football for Leeds United – so he concentrated on drawing instead. He is now one of Australia’s most treasured illustrators, whose recent work includes Tales from a Tall Forest. His award-winning picture books – including A House of Her Own, Pink and Where is Bear? – have been published all over the world.
