A large majority of population living in the proximity of industrial units is getting affected for worse in the process of industrial development by way of loss of environment, livelihoods, lifestyles, health, etc. As a responsibility towards the affected, the industries the world over are adopting corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Scientific implementation of CSR initiatives demand conduct of baseline survey of the affected of all the facets. The current monograph not only introduces the tools, techniques and methods of conducting baseline survey but also serves more like a toolkit.
