Maryann McMahon is Absolutely Thrilled upon the Publication of her Second Official Children's Book, "Tooty the Tenderhearted Tooth!" Her other Works include, "Vinnie and Vicki - The Vibrant Viruses!" "A Special Present From Puddles!" "The Little Leftovers Have a Magical Christmas!" and "Oh No! Don't Snow On Easter!" (Due for Release in February 2022) Maryann McMahon is a passionate, lifelong Educator who has worked for many years in the Academic Realm as a Pre-K, Kindergarten, First, Fifth-and-Sixth Grade Teacher, Assistant Principal and Educational Director. In 2005, Maryann was nominated by one of her former Pre-K Students to The National Honor Roll of Outstanding American Teachers. Throughout her teaching days in Elmhurst, New York, one of the most multicultural communities in the United States, Maryann authored multiple stories to spark imaginations, stimulate creativity and enhance knowledge to those entrusted to her care. She created unique tales to be utilized for innovative Instructional Units in Literacy. As a fundraiser for the school, Maryann authored two children's coloring books cleverly illustrated by one of her young students. Since Maryann feels strongly that literary advancement of our youngest generation is paramount, she generously donates a portion of her proceeds to the education of poor and orphan children abroad, as well as youngsters in need in the community. In addition, Maryann also enjoys writing poetry and has had a number of her poetic works published in local newspapers, as well as an inclusion in a poetry book entitled "The Colors of Life" by the International Library of Poetry. She is most proud of her cherished poems, "A Mother - A Miracle of God's Creation!" and "Never Forget to Honor a Vet!" (A literary poem honoring veterans) Maryann's long-held vision is that youngsters in all corners of the globe are provided with access to quality children's publications which will motivate, uplift and inspire them to achieve their highest potentials and realize their greatest dreams!
