P D Dodd is more familiar with writing poetry, and this is her first attempt as a children's author. She works full-time in an office and likes to write in her free time. Other interests include reading, theatre, tap dancing, playing the piano, cooking, travelling, gardening (especially growing her own vegetables) and walking her little dog in the Cheshire countryside where she lives.
