Planetary gear trains comprise one extremely wide technical field. Planetary gear trains comprise one extremely wide technical field. Its theory is not that simple, it possesses a lot of underwater stones and traps, and also the internal processes in them are not so obvious and easily understood for everybody. Different methods are used for the analysis of the planetary gear trains. Two of them are most commonly used and have become classical. This is the analytical method of Willis and the graphical one of Kutzbach. They have proved their abilities in the course of many years, that is why they are going to be used in the future positively. In the present book, the method of the torques is considered, used for the analysis of the elementary planetary gear trains, and so as of the complicated compound planetary gear trains. In comparison with the classical methods, its advantages are revealed exactly with the complicated planetary gear trains. In the book, efforts are made to present of the complicated matter as systematic, easily understandable and particularly well visualised, because the necessity and the striving of engineers for visualization dominate their activities.
