As someone that has spent countless years in the progressive movement, Rikimah knows all too well some of the challenges, pitfall, and wins that have been a part of the every day experience for Black and Brown womxn. To that point, this book was written with those things in mind. For those of you interested in some of Rikimah's journey, here are some of the roles and organizations she's worked in/for. Rikimah served as the Chief of People & State Operations for Bernie 2020. Prior to that, Rikimah served as the Global Director of People Operations for Dimagi.
