Stefan Boonen was born in 1966 and now lives together with his wife and their 2 children in Leuven (Belgium). He first studied for carpenter and later he worked as a social worker. Since 2000 he's a fulltime writer of children's and youth books. Greet Bosschaert (1964) lives in the city centre of Bruges. She studied decoration, had secondary teacher training for plastic arts and received training to be an illustrator. Now she works in an original writing shop in Bruges, that focusses on calligraphy and poetry. In 1997 she found her place with Clavis Publishing, via the Key Colours International illustrator's award.
