Michael Hall is Professor of Tourism at the University of Otago, New Zealand. Dieter K. Müller is Associate Professor, Department of Social and Economic Geography, Umeå University, Sweden. Both authors have research interests with respect to tourism and regional development, mobility, and tourism in peripheral areas.
