Autorenporträt
Studium des Bauingenieurwesens, der Statik und der Erdbebenkunde in Austin, Texas. Er sammelte umfangreiche Erfahrungen bei der Planung und Leitung von Projekten in Costa Rica. Eine wahrgenommene Lücke veranlasste ihn, in Paris Architektur und Städtebau zu studieren, später ergänzt durch Studien über nachhaltige, adaptive und energiesparende Architekturen in CAT (Whales).
