The rapid rise of China as a dominant global player in the manufacture of solar photovoltaic (PV) industry has drawn much attention from scholars and policy-makers. However, few studies have been done to examine how the implementation of solar PV policies have affected the pace of domestic deployment of solar PV technology in China. This research aims to fill this gap.
