In this book we examine the effectiveness of behavioural nudges in promoting responsible pesticide use in Eastern India's paddy fields.The intervention includes, simplified pesticide calculations to reduce cognitive load and visual reminders of pesticide risks, significant increases in paddy yield and decreases in variable costs were observed.The book highlights how these behavioural interventions effectively influenced farmers' production behaviour, leading to more sustainable resource utilization.
