Assessment the quality of translation for improving the quality has been a controversial issue in translation studies. The question raised by many is how to assess this quality. Our main purpose of the present study was to re-address this issue through translation quality assessment of translated version of D. Bryan Morgan "International Construction Contract Management" based on House Model (1997). We evaluated 56 randomly selected samples, English / Persian pairs through comparative discourse analysis, problematic areas as errors were the matter of investigation. This study also used seven raters to evaluate this translation based on House TQA model (1997) and their own experiences as translators, legal / contract persons and PhD students of international contract management to remove subjectivity from the outcomes of this study. The results of this study could be used in translation workshops for training translating students. This study also enjoys having the model author's opinion. Zhila Afshin is the MA holder of Translation Studies at IAU, Science and Research, Shahr-e-Qods Branch, Tehran, Iran. She is working with IOEC Company, worked on contract management as translator and researcher. Kourosh Akef, is the PhD holder, studied Teaching EFL at IAU, now he is Assistant Professor in IAU of central Tehran Branch, Iran.
