Best estimate codes have been used in the past thirty years for the design, licensing and safety of NPP. Stefano Racca was born in November 1986 in a small city close to Turin, Italy. He studied Energy and Nuclear Engineering in Polytechnic of Turin, where he graduated in March 2011. Before his graduation, he spent six months in Stockholm, Sweden working on his master thesis in the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).
