Autorenporträt
Born as a Midtown girl in Manhattan, NY she grew in Mexico City metro area in a family who raised animals, that closeness to domestic animals allowed her to establish a special bond with them. Since very young she enjoyed going to countryside to visit her relatives farm where she could ride on donkeys, horses or run after chickens, goats and sheep. During her life, she always has been accompanied by dogs, in them she could find the peace, comfort and love with nothing in return except for a pet and a good snack. In their eyes she could experienced the presence of God. In her late teenage years was living between New York and Mexico City where she could work sitting kids and dogs, thats where she got in touch with different ways of relationship between humans and animals. She studied the first year of Biology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, to then later get the Bachelors Degree in Optometry. Her interests in telling stories to her children stem the idea to start writing for kids. She currently lives in an Atlanta GA, with her two children and husband and her beloved dog Almendrita.
