Interstitial drawing and diagramming enable us to reveal and engage with the 'unseen' that exceeds the limits of the 'known'. As a condition of emergence and transitionality, interstitiality inspires our engagement with the interacting 'layers' of the 'real'. In an effort to 'read' the obscure areas between 0 and 1, the unanticipated relations and tensions between thinking, experimentation, observation, representation and mathematical models can be innovatively revealed, reconditioning the parameters of vision, energy, information and matter. Through interstitial drawing and diagramming, unknown situations, e.g. inaccessible complexities, paradoxes and potentialities, inspire innovative practice and research in art and the related fields. The conditions and phenomena of space may become part of the creative process directly or indirectly. Code and software are used not as a 'blank paper', but as a generative, transitional and unstable 'environment'. 'Phase spaces' and in-formation geometries emerge through the dialogue and the critical limits of philosophy, mathematics, optics, information technology and cosmology.
