My name is Gretchen and I am the creator of Track Journal. In 2017, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. In some ways it was a relief to finally have a reason behind the symptoms I was experiencing for so long. I had tried so many different approaches to managing my life but nothing really fit for what I was going through. It was hard to balance all of my projects and goals while experiencing brain fog, depression, anxiety, weight gain, and fatigue. The list of symptoms goes on but I'll stop there! As a graphic designer by day, I decided to create a journal that would cover everything I need while also tracking my blood work, symptoms, and schedule. Balancing our lives isn't just about sticking to a schedule. It's about clarity and adjusting as we go. There is so much information out there on what to eat, think, and do when you when living with a health disorder. The information is overwhelming and can even contradict itself!
